Julie Pierce hired me to help her bring her vision to life as a powerful brand. She wanted to create a corporate brand identity around her methodology that she could build upon for the next ten years.

The name was inspired by Bona Dea, the Roman goddess of women and healing, worshipped exclusively by women. 

 

Treatment

 

I wanted to evoke a tribal devotion to Julona so I took inspiration from the brands Aveda and Gaiam. Both of these companies do an excellent job of aligning themselves to their customers through their shared values. Working with Derek Blagg as the graphic designer, these were our attempts to hone in on a similar, yet distinctive aesthetic in the lettering of the brand name.
